How anybody gives this a thumbs down is beyond my belief. It came out well. If you want better you could always spend a small fortune on a premade one and it would probably not look a whole lot better, Good job on the door book case.

Awesome, this is exactly what I want to do for a similar space in my house.

I already have a door that opens inward, though hinges are on the opposite side of yours and I'd keep that orientation.

I have a room and a door. How did you add this? Anyway of just adding something to pre existing door to make it look like a solid wall and add board and batten to hide it without bookcase? Also did you remove door and put this in place meaning is this prefabbed? Or, did you build from scratch I would love to know the details please !!
