There are always some awkward jokes, it's part of the deal. Taylor is not the one orchestrating the cut-aways, so I think this joke actually takes more of a shot at the sports channels. I'm pretty sure she's just tired of hearing the same joke again, and again, and again. Especially since she doesn't run the media outlets.
