Hi Jean, and many thanks for your video. I understand this is free content for LinkedIn optimization but let me introduce you to the real world of LinkedIn. Many things can be said but I will briefly go through the main points you are completely off track: A. Not having a LinkedIn picture is useful sometimes as you may either want to avoid social bias of others when looking at your experienc. I don't know if you pay attention, but there is an increasing trend among LinkedIn members not having a LinkedIn picture (especially seniors) B. Not optimizing the wording/ having few words in your previous job descriptions or not having a description at all is sometimes a beneficial strategy as most of the job-related descriptions are located in your resume. So, when applying for a role you have the chance to impress the recruiter by not using the most common LinkedIn wording that he/she probably sees every day. Btw, the most common research technique when someone wants to enrich a resume is to search the way other users report what they have done on similar roles. In the end, how many boring repetitive LinkedIn profiles and "awesome" or "unique" profile pics and self descriptions are out there only because they are trying to "optimize". Anyway, I wrote a lot. Thanks for the video.

I definitely believe that having a custom background image on LinkedIn is key for STANDING OUT 😊Just a quick tip here - when designing your cover image, keep in mind that the placement of your profile photo changes on mobile & desktop, so you’ll want to ensure that none of the important information on your LinkedIn banner (such as call-to-actions, contact details) get hidden by your profile picture 😉

At 2:28 you say that LinkedIn sends the post to the user's 2nd degree network. Nothing gets sent to a person's 2nd degree network to my understanding. I believe content can only go to one's 1st degree network. What are you referring to?
