I am a C-level executive in the Telcoms industry, with annual salary in the $250K-300K rane plus bonus and benefits. I have been looking for a role for 4 years (Four Years) now and used every tool possible including implementing every recommendation like the ones in this video. This is misleading. There is no such thing as "do this on your profile then opportunities & recruiter messages will flood your inbox". It is an insanely bad market out there and trivializing job search (especially at the senior end) in such a manner is depressing, to say the least. Stats: LinkedIn user since 2005, over 20, 000 connections, and 80+ recommendations.

Thanks for this video. I am trying to get back into the design field. Previously, I worked as an administrator for 10 years and now I want to be a designer. I took some classes in UI Design and I'm not having much luck.

Be careful with sending a lot of connection request for a short period of time as this may result to your LinkedIn account being restricted.

Thanks a lot bro. Do you believe taking and completing LinkedIn Courses relevant to my field can show my enthusiasm and further improve my chances of getting hired?

I made a lot of mistakes and I feel like my linkedin account is a liability. Is it possible to turn it around and make it an asset?

YES, talk about salaries on LinkedIn. Rip the veil off. Secrecy only benefits capitalists, and W2 earners aren't capitalists.

If I put in the headline "open to opportunities" being already employed, just to maximise the chance of receiving offers, that would be risky if my employer finds out that headline?

What if you are currently in school? I am a currently studying business administration for transfer(AA) Do I include that in my LinkedIn? Would that be a handicap when trying to land a HR job to gain experience?
