Made one 2 years ago nearly the same ! Great video. I need to plumb my pump and filter more cleanly and definitely insulate. Mine is 36 deg right now and usually stays about 40 in the super hot months in the garage. If I had to dump ice i would never do it. Gotta be convenient to just head out and do it.

Making sure the water is above your Vagus nerve is apparently important. Not sure if any research has been done but I do it anyway because why not? Great job.

looks good, but i you filter should be in line before the chillers

Suggestion: Shouldn't the filter be before the pump.

The water you want to filter is in the tub as you bring in debris from clothing, dirt from the floor etc, if its in front of the pump it will allow the pump to be less clogged as well as the chiller. I see this is a 7 month old video maybe you have already figured this out.

Great video! I like the overall setup, go ice baths!!!!

Tell her to put her hands on her thighs or stomach to keep her hands from freezing! Most people don’t submerge their hands lol first time seeing your videos! Keep plunging ! I’m on day 76 on 3am plunges and 4 am gym !

Have you built a DIY Cold Plunge? If so what was. your biggest hurdle?

Great build! No issues with not having a strainer before water hits the chiller? I am working on my DIY build and tightening up some leaks...Also, how long does it take for the Rocita chiller to show signifcant temp change?

Thank you for the video and the information! I had a quick question—what type of insulation did you use? (It looks white in the video.) Also, what did you use to cover the surrounding frame?

How often do you change the water? I have the parts for the exact same build. Got it for Christmas

Does it matter the chiller is only for 79 gallons when the tub is about 100? Does it make it run harder/longer opening the opportunity for burning it out?

Why did you put the filter after the pump ? Wouldn't it be better to have it before the pump and chiller ?

How does that chiller get the water down to sub 50 degree temps..? It's just an aquarium filter rated for 68-78 degrees. Cold plunge chillers that can reach lower temps are much more expensive.

Shouldn’t you filter it before it flows through your machine?

What is the length and width of your frame?

What is the white stuff around the tank?

Doesn’t the chiller have a pump? Why do you need an external pump?
