Sound issues are not new in Windows operating systems. Almost every new version of Windows brought sound problems to some of its users, and Windows 10 is not different.

So, because you can’t normally use your computer without a sound, here’s the solution which might help.

Whenever you update to the latest version of Windows 10, you can find cool new features and fixes. Unfortunately, big updates can bring with them new problems, and some of the most common are audio related. Those issues can leave people unable to play videos, use certain apps, or hear anything at all from their speakers.

That’s not fun, especially when learning your way around the OS’ new features, so let’s do some troubleshooting. Here are the ways you can fix Windows 10 audio issues to remove the dreaded sound of silence.

As I said, some users might experience some kind of flaw in their sound settings, which can prevent Windows from playing the sound.

Apparently, this flaw won’t be fixed even if your sound drivers are updated.

This tutorial will apply for computers, laptops, desktops, and tablets running the Windows 10, Windows 8/8.1, Windows 7 operating systems. Works for all major computer manufactures (Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Toshiba, Lenovo, Samsung).

I don't know why every Realtek device I've ever owned always has some kind of problem. Almost 20 years later and they still can't develop a decent driver for their products. Maybe the product itself is subpar, and if so, why do PC manufacturers constantly install them in their systems?
