I've caught 76 bass this year over 4lbs- biggest 3 were 7.9; 8.3; and 8.7... all bass caught in public ponds. (Texas)

Best baits:
Rage Blade in February- cover water right off the bottom at night.
Chatterbait in March (more grass)
1/8 swimbait hook 4.3 inch Rage Swimmer fished slow with underspin blade in April and May. (Over rocks and grass- also near surface)
10.5 inch worm in June- in rocks, grasslines, and timber
1/2 ounce football Jig in July in rocks.

Always fish drainage pipes and any kind of inflow of water.

You can't catch big bass if the lake or pond doesn't produce the quality. areas around me hold 1-3lb only I still catch them . Tight lines

... how are you able to get that lure out that far with the bait caster... At 2:10 that was a long cast if that was a weightless worm tried to cast a senko with a small bullet weight dang thing didn't go no more then 6 feet out...

Golf course fishing is like shooting fish in a barrel.

This video was so misleading! You're not going to catch 5+ pounders one after the other just by casting a plastic out into a pond. This pond probably only has 5+ pounders, and has probably been stacked by the owner... This is the kind of stuff that brings the confidence of young fishermen down because they can't catch that many huge bass one after the other!! Also, these tips were super cliché and super obvious. THUMBS DOWN!

I have to somewhat disagree with the keep mobile recommendation. I've found more success staying in one general area until I'm confident I've fished that area as thoroughly as possible. I don't move to a new area until I've used multiple different presentations in a variety of colors. I can see staying mobile possibly working in small ponds where you can walk the entire bank in a relatively short period of time, but I don't have anywhere like that to fish around where I live. Most of the ponds around me have "no fishing" signs posted.
