I truly don’t get why some people feel it necessary to pick this lesson apart because in my opinion, it is laid out in a very sensible and logical manner. Thanks for yet another great (and free I might add) lesson!

You have helped me a LOT! I have to be taught visual to learn. I am a older student just starting. 1st the Most Important teaching Skill you have is for beginners, you go Very Slowly and you are very thourough.. thank you. So many teachers are so fast and just sit and play their songs very fast to show how talented they are. I get they want to let people know they are smart but im here to learn as a beginner pre K starting . Lol. I loved their talent but vould not learn that fast. But this technique you shared, was crutial for me. You give us so much in your videos. I LOVE THE WAY YOU TEACH THIS LESSON ON HOW TO USE FINGER HAND POSITIONS ON INVERSIONS. NEVER HEARD THAT. WHEN I BEGAN TO TRY INVERSIONS I BECAME OVERWHELMED!! TO SAY THE LEAST.! BUT YOU TAUGHT ME A PATTERN AND A WAY TO PRACTICE 3 AT A TIME, PLUS 3 INVERSIONS, PLUS SAME 3 MINOR AND MAJOR AT Same time. Excellent !! Thank you so much. I have hope and encouragement i can go forward now. Bless you. Have a great day. 😃

Im a visual learner and thus found ( albeit to my surprise) this video is a game changer for me. Ive been playing much of this in my daily practice pieces via my adult learning method, however, it didnt click until this video. As im also challenged by adhd im taking a break at mid point and will come back to learn from the second portion after ive practced the first half a bit.

I watched an earlier version of this over a year and a half ago, and it helped me gain knowledge of chords rapidly. Two weeks ago I dusted off my volume one method books of La Méthode Rose and John Thompson (in French) and started playing all the exercises again. And I'm trying all the songs but to be more musical. My piano teacher noticed an improvement right away and has encouraged me to continue. LMR is bilingual, and anyone wanting to learn French will benefit.
I started playing seventh chords and watched some jazz channels and was completely lost. I decided to master triads before moving on to more advanced things.
Great video, I like what you've done with the channel. Bon continuation.

I'm new to piano. I've been practicing my triads for weeks and my over and under with the thumb. Then I come across your video which I've learned so much from and I'm only halfway through. Thank you much! I see patterns anyways so you pointing them out parallels my thought process so we think alike. I appreciate it

Thank you! I have just started learning how to play using chords. I found you instruction so clear and easy and I have practiced just how you taught. In two weeks I was able to play simple songs and I am thrilled. My piano teacher was very impressed and I sent her your channel. Thank you for making learning this easy and directly applicable. I am looking forward to learning more from you.

Excellent presentation. Many of the teachers on YouTube are excellent players, but not so good as teachers. You do both very well! This is extremely helpful for my journey through all the chords and inversions. It seemed overwhelming until now. Now I think it’s very feasible. Thank you!
