SpaceX Humiliates Boeing and Wins Huge Contract From NASA!

SpaceX is slowly but surely dominating the whole space industry. They have become so big that even huge organizations like NASA are seeking their help. This is a big win for SpaceX, both in terms of money and trust. Recently, NASA entrusted SpaceX with a major task worth hundreds of millions that no other private company has ever been trusted to do before.
What's funny about this is the timing. Just when Boeing is struggling to return astronauts from the International Space Station, SpaceX achieves another major milestone. This is more than just an embarrassment for Boeing; it highlights SpaceX's growing dominance and reliability.
In this video, we will talk about this significant contract and how Musk reacted to this achievement. Before we delve any deeper, make sure to subscribe to our channel for future updates about the Starship and SpaceX's other groundbreaking achievements.
The International Space Station orbits the Earth approximately every 90 minutes, traveling at a speed of about 17 thousand 500 miles per hour. The space station consists of modules and components from various international partners, including NASA, Russia, Japan, Europe, and Canada.
As the station approaches the end of its operational life, a safe and controlled deorbit process is necessary. Deorbiting is the process of bringing a spacecraft out of orbit, leading to its re-entry into Earth’s atmosphere. This ensures that the station does not become space debris, which could pose a significant hazard to other spacecraft and satellites.
Historically, the deorbiting of large space structures has been managed carefully to avoid uncontrolled re-entries that could scatter debris overpopulated areas. Controlled deorbiting involves precise calculations and maneuvers to direct the spacecraft into a remote part of the ocean, often referred to as a "spacecraft cemetery."
In the past, space agencies have used various methods to deorbit satellites and smaller space stations. For instance, Russia successfully deorbited its Mir space station in 2001 by using a series of controlled burns to lower its orbit and direct it into the Pacific Ocean.
Now, NASA has assigned SpaceX the critical mission of deorbiting the International Space Station.
They awarded SpaceX an $843 million contract to build the United States Deorbit Vehicle. This specialized spacecraft will be responsible for safely deorbiting the International Space Station at the end of its operational life, ensuring a controlled re-entry into Earth's atmosphere.
The Deorbit Vehicle will likely draw upon SpaceX’s experience with their Dragon spacecraft, which has been successfully transporting cargo and crew to and from the International Space Station for years.

The us government needs to tell boeing "Fix your shit and until you do there will be no further government contracts, not just space but everything. Civilian, military and space. Nothing." Boeing has some serious quality control problems.

Be funny when spacex is asked to de orbit the Boeing capsule

I think NASA made a mistake selecting SpaceX for the de-orbit. They are more than capable, but Boeing has proven itself recently, being able to crash things like no other aerospace company. 6:05

Do you want to see MASSIVE humiliation of Boeing? We can hardly wait. If SpaceX "catches" the booster on Mechazilla for the 5th flight, it will be the most massive humiliation in the history of Boeing Corporation.

The US Military had watched SpaceX 4th flight with great interest. Even our military was SHOCKED when Starship landed successfully with a controlled descent, even with the fin partially destroyed.

But that's nothing compared to a "successful" catch! Elon's military contracts will also "explode" into the billions.

Sagittarius, cancer rising and moon in picises, I have lived a crazy life. Physical and mental abuse as a child, abandoned to a boys home, then played with massive drug abuse, I feel extremely that I survived because of a supernatural presence. Massive heart attack at 41 then COVID delta and burst appendix, along with several close call ODs, yes I truly have been blessed. Cat of nine lives people told me. No. It was Devine intervention. 60 now and just starting to understand. Crescent moon is the latest anomaly I have. Love your life you only get one. Care for yourself, no one may

Maybe SpaceX can help get Man to the Moon....for the first time..😂

Boeing only works on innovative products when they have a contract to complete. Unlike SpaceX, which continues to develop despite not having contracts or other obligations, they will continue to innovate, which is part of the culture. Boeing develops new products then scrap the team losing out on all the innovation.

If the ISS can't withstand a rocket boost to raise it, what about connecting a SOLAR SAIL to boost it along slow and steady?
