I competed and taught for many years (saber). 💪😎✌️ 12+ medals, though nothing Olympic nor anything hyper-fancy. My additional background is/was in live staged combat, and I directed and performed for several decades. That was plenty more than enough for me. I'm glad I did it before I became too old to enjoy it or to achieve anything significant from participating.
