How Electric Fences Work⚡️

Electric fences only shock when you touch the wire and the ground, completing the circuit. Birds don’t get shocked because they aren’t grounded.

We all know that birds are drones, that's why they sit on powerlines to recharge

The birds dont get shock for 2 reasons
1) their legs are from bones and little of skin so those are not very conductive
2) the electric current is created by nature trying to equalize potentials on 2 sides of conductant. When bird is sitting on only one wire, the potential is same so current wont flow.

Here from the UK 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 years ago we did this as a short cut on the way home back from the pub over a private property and the shock certainly sobered us all up 😂😂😂

I used to repair computer 🖥️ monitors back in the 1990s when they were cathode ray tubes and ran at very high voltages. I've been shocked by more volts than most people would ever be exposed to. I'm alive because I was NOT grounded, but insulated while standing on a special mat.
The kind of shocks in this video would probably just feel like a strong tingle to me, even now, unlike with most people.
