Switch Drift FIXED With New Joy-Cons?

Teardown of the new Nintendo Joy-Cons, have the fixed the issues that have given users so many problems? Is Joy-Con joystick drift gone?? I think so!

So this was just showing off the new Joy-Cons and saying that “They probably fixed it” without a way of showing it?

Tarring apart the Joy Cons was cool but the title was a bit on the misleading side of things.

Totally forgot to check, but the latches are now made out of metal it seems! Which means the joy-cons shouldn’t pull off! Heck yeah!!

I dont know if seeing a different "model" number indicates that the problem has been fixed. Spawn Wave has opened up the actual joystick housing on different " model numbers" and they were mechanically the same exact thing. the number could also just be a production stamp and not a indicator of which model it is

I’m really irritated with Nintendo UK. In the US, they get a free Joy-con repair, and here, we don’t.

I should sue.

This is not model number. Its just number in the big bin with parts. Its exactly the same internally.

Let's hope so. If not, the good news is that replacement joysticks are pretty inexpensive and the repair isn't too difficult, even for somebody who might not be experienced with making these types of repairs.

I don't know, some users of the NEW Switch lite has reported the drift problem in their consoles so if Nintendo made a revision of the analogs I'm pretty sure the would have to use It on the new system firstly 🤔.

I’m still holding out hope for a Yellow and Green joycon combo. Purple and Orange is nice but imagine how cool it would be to have Red, Blue, Yellow, Green joycons

Love the purple, a lot of people love that color. I just got these two switch out my Neon Green joycons that were way overly bad. Drift was everywhere.

I'm so glad you opened it up and didn't just say, "Yeah, it feels like they fixed it!" Bought my purple/orange day one and am hoping to really wear them in to validate that they are working properly.

i ordered these joycons today !!! ….. i havent had joycons on my switch for months and havent played handheld for a longtime due to all this drift crap happening, these better be working because i really cannot put up with this any longer, not playing handheld due to shitty made products is very bad service indeed
