I literally work with Arise --- a resume and interview was required and it DEFINITELY is NOT $16/hr. 40 hours is NOT guaranteed either. -1/10 do not recommend.

it's not that people look down on CSRs, it is that companies do not want to pay what a CSR position should be paying for the mental abuse you have to deal with. The minimum pay for CSRs should be 20.00 hr

Thanks so much for sharing these in under 10 minutes, other people make these job videos, but they 30 mins or more. It's deeply appreciated!

At $16 per hour, your glassdoor total gross income would be a little more than $33, 000 annually. A lot less than the $143, 000 that flashed on the screen.

Appen is horrible. You can apply all you want, but after the "welcome aboard" emails you'll never hear from them again and project you applied for will quietly be deleted. Meanwhile you may want to read on the info, and find several of the "must read/watch" links going to a 404 error. Wouldn't waste my time on them.

Great stuff, I am 2 weeks in to my serious commitment to making my youtube journey. Startet 3 years ago uploaded 20+ videos in a month and croaked being a full time 45 yr old parent of two and working a full time job wasn’t the best combination. But recently the itch has gotten too strong to ignore and I’m back baby! Thanks for all your inspiring and helpful content. See you in about a 100

Slicethepie doesn't pay $16 an hour, not even close, unless there is some kind of tier list based on your personal rating. I did 17 songs in one hour and made $9. Still appreciative for this side gig, thank you for that.

I went to the Arise site, and before signing up they had a USA map showing which states were "sourcing". Apparently New York isn't available, so I guess that makes me sad for that but glad I did not have to go through a whole personal process just to be told "too bad so sad". This is my first time seeing your videos and I appreciate the work you put into it for others. It's so hard for me to find anything around here because jobs are demanding persons to be able to be Bilingual, or have Associates or Bachelor degree when all I did even since being in high school was try to work to get by. I know this is just a sob story from a stranger on the internet but I will keep watching your videos. thank you

I'm in transition and work at Arise temporarily. And for me it is awful...if you do not mind being "Ultra Micro Managed" then you may not mind. But as you sometimes say it is Soul crushing? You train for one month on you, 0 pay and it was 4hrs a day. There are constant tech issues and I mean I still have them every single day and your in a virtual environment - so they can police you. I had a call transferred while in "after call work" status and someone watching workers computers, shut my computer down. I just said - I'm done....LOl. And people who call in are usually mad because someone did the wrong thing...because they do hire anyone. Which means there will be a lot of human error. That is just par for the course. Anyway I could go - you get the point.

I don’t recommend arise. Especially the Home Depot program. The only way you make money is to run a call center of 100+. It is not $15 an hour. It is $7.80 for 30 minute interval and you get charged for your platform fee and if you’re in a “call center” it’s even less. Kind of like if you were a hairstylist and renting a station. So it doesn’t actually come out to $15 an hour as advertised. When you first join after your training, you’re on probation and you only get several hours a week 15 or so and unless you are a gold status, customer service agent your hours are sporadic throughout the day. It is great if you are a mom with kids in school and want something to do during the day that you can schedule your hours around your day to make a little extra money however, if you’re trying to make this full-time, it is highly unlikely.
