1. Select your base colour
2. Then alpha lock it
3. Then choose the lighter and darker shades
4. Then select the flat watercolour Brush and select the base colour
5. Now start blending
6. Blend from dark to light
And you're done

Instead of doing any of this just blur it it worked so well blur brush name: Dip pen soft

There is also a solution so after you use the brush it doesn't work but after you need to go to smudge and drag it down but you need the special wand on so you don't get the background and done

As a digital artist, pls dont use saturated colors as ur base or gradient. When i was a beginner my art never looked good, use saturated colors if u want something in ur drawing to stand out.

You can also use the droplet shaped tool as a blender
