Hey! I blend colors the same way. Once I get enough practice, I can do it faster. It is nice to get confirmation. When I blend colors I vary in value as well as hue. Having the same value is great for the purposes of this tutorial though. I love using the airbrush tool. The effect is beautiful, and it is fantastic for rendering smooth textures.
