Strategy is more important than numbers. You don't need a lot if you know how to not lose a lot. Also, I can't imagine America ever using tanks in a modern war. No need.

In ww2 America and Canada actually produced things. How man mines and foundries are acruly operational. I personally believe there are more companies selling insurance policies than there is companies actually working with the resources used in war
