Our dachshund never chewed anything. He was very much a gentleman. He spent most of the day standing in our front window watching the world go by, and giving constant updates. He had different sounds for bicyclists, pedestrians, people he knew, strangers, the mailman, dogs, cats, birds, and even knew the difference between blue jays and mocking birds. We had to start spelling "walk" and "leash" if we weren't planning on going out immediately, but he learned that so we had to come up with code words.

You covered just about everything!!! We are on our 2nd pair..vowed never to get another one after our 1st two passed at age 15 one year apart from each other...it left us broken!! We finally realized there were many out there that needed lots of love & we adopted 2 more to love & fill our empty hearts again!! They're the Best dogs to keep your life beyond fun & exciting!!❤️👍🥰🤗😍💞
