Sway bar links connect the sway bar (stabilizer bar) to other suspension components. They have a movable joint that can be damaged or wear out over time. When that happens, the joints get loose, and rattle. This video shows you how to install new TRQ sway bar links on your 2007-14 Chevy Silverado.

This repair was done on a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 WT 4.8L and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
2008 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
2009 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
2010 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
2011 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
2012 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Tools you will need:
• 16mm Wrench
• 3/8 Inch Impact Gun

Should this be done when the suspension is load or unloaded… or dose it matter?

Odd, I never replaced sway bar links, that wasn't broken already.

you put the anti seize everywhere except where it should be. Totally missed the part of the bolt where the nut threads on (The most important)

I just installed mine. The manual has sway bar links at 17 ft lbs and sway bar bushings at 37 ft lbs. Best to just start the upper nut on one side so you don't have to lift (with crowbar) sway bar on other side to install inner top bushing on link.

I did the wedge style leveling kit on my 08 Silverado years ago. Are you supposed to put in a taller end link then?
