Why Has This Country BANNED X?

Elon Musk might have bitten off a little more than he can chew with his latest fallout, after one of the biggest countries in the world took a stance against the billionaire.

X has become a hotbed for political opinions since the Tesla brainiac bought it back in 2022, which has put it under the spotlight for plenty of governments across the planet.

A few stern words in Musks direction were all we’d seen, until now…
Brazil has a population of 5 million people, and after their supreme court passed a ruling to ban X, those 5 million people can no longer access the platform.

Musk fumed on his own account, calling Brazil’s supreme court Judge a ‘Dictator and a fraud’, following up saying that his actions are against the will of the brazilian people he is supposed to represent

But Brazil have gone a step further.

The New York Times have reported that if you’re caught using a VPN to try to access X, you could be fined as much as $9,000 per day.
