I tried the alpha of the nexus mod manager on linux and it seems to have worked flawlessly. i added 84 mods to stardew valley and it seems to be working fine.

I've been using Vortex mod manager on my steam deck since I got it. All you have to do is launch the game with steam tinker launch and it just works.

While I don’t like the nexus mods manager app (I usualy perfer mod organizer 2) I am glad to see it supposedly getting better Linux support at the very least

In soo fed up with the Non steam launcher, I can't even get the launchers to open now. Tried clearing all and still no luck

Has Valve not fixed the dumb max brightness bug after a cold boot yet in these betas? One of the most annoying bugs thats been an issue for like over a year and for as long as I can remember. On cold boot it will be at the max brightness and blind the heck out of you if your laying in bed wanting to play something before you sleep but if you go to the tab with the brightness bar it’s still set at what you have it set as, mine is on 40 percent and you have to move it left or right just one tick and it will go back to normal. I know I’m not the only one that’s tired of this bug after so long.

Would like to add a couple mods to some of my steam deck games. Specifically Jedi survivor and battlefront 2 (2017)

So I spend 18m getting Nexus mods working on my fallout 4 to get place anywhere to work and less than a week later 😂😂😂 just my luck

So how would Nexus Mods work on linux with games that are running via proton? I hope they address that bit as almost all my games use proton
