LX 100 mark 2 vs g7x mark 2..which one ll u prefer for photos?

In 2021, by modern standards, do you think that the 12.8 megapixels of the original lx100 is not enough? I'm very interested in buying that one, because the mark2 is too expensive for me.
I know that it would definitely be a great improvement over my sony HX9V that has a much smaller sensor (even if it has 16 megapixels). But I'm still worried about the 12.8 megapixels, because I like to zoom in the picture. Sure, the details and the texture will be better, but...
