Smashburgers for beginners on the Blackstone. This is the easy classic way to make crispy, crunchy, cheesy, juicy burgers step by step. Enjoy!!!

Step 1: Shape 3-5oz loosely packed balls with 80/20 ground beef (I use a 1/2 Cup)
Step 2: Melt butter on medium high heat (pro tip, use a stick of butter and open the wrapper half way and rub the butter directly on the griddle.
Step 3: Use wax/parchment paper to press the balls flat for 10 seconds each. (pro tip, you can use a saucepan lid instead of a press if you don't have one)
Step 4: Add salt/pepper/garlic to taste.
Step 4b: Add more butter and toast buns.
Step 5: Scrape/Flip/Add cheese after juices rise up and the outsides start to brown after 2-3 minutes.

I'm not a huge fan of regular burgers on the grill but I got a Weber Crafted Griddle and wanted to try out smash burgers... I watched a couple of videos but ended up using yours as my main tutorial... Let me tell you, best burgers I've ever had on the grill by far! Only main differences I did was use 1/3 measuring cup and seasoned them before they went on the grill.
