I’m pretty sure pork is prohibited in the Old Testament, however people use the time where Peter I think it was refuses to eat pork and god tells him that it’s his creature and so it’s okay, and so many Christians follow that

In Christianity, Jesus said it doesn’t matter what goes inside your body(what you eat) but what comes out of your mouth(choice of words). I don’t eat it because I’m vegetarian though. Love you so much hope this clears things up! <333

Well I'm catholic and we can eat pork but like on certain days of the catholic calendar we can't eat meat for certain reason but on other days if there isn't something coming up we can eat meat

I'm a christian and there's no food restrictions anymore like in the the old testament because Jesus came down and was the only perfect sacrifice!🙏🏼

Technically, the eating of pork is prohibited in the Old Testament. More strict denominations of Christianity will follow that. However, I come from a Jewish family and have the most experience with the lifestyle from this religion. It is also prohibited in Judaism to eat pork.

I always wondered why people of the Islamic faith couldn’t eat pork. Thank you for clarifying!😁 and with Christianity I think (I’m NOT an expert or anything so if I am wrong, which I most likely am, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!) it depends on how you practice the faith. Like, I’m Christian, but I eat pork(obviously not on Fridays right now.) so I guess it just depends on how you practice and what you believe in.(Please no hate! If I’m wrong please let me know. I’m Jewish and we’re not allowed to eat pork! It’s one of the few rules I actually follow 🙈 mostly cuz I never ate it growing up and now I don’t like the smell.
