I cannot believe professors do not teach and explain like you do .. I guess they make it hard on purpose by keeping their rhetoric complex so that no one can understand them... it truly hurts the world and our progression to improve society. Thank you for your simplistic nature of explaining in detail. Excellent course!

As a freshmen pursuing chemical engineering along with a minor in math and business, you have no idea how much this helps. I know that as a freshmen, I’m probably acting too ambitious, but the only reason why I bring these up is because I just wanna empathize how heavy my workload will be. One of my math minor classes is Applied Statistics, so this video is gonna push me to become more of a self learner and help me get a head start mentally!

I do have a question that will also help me and hopefully many other students. I don’t know how your channel organize videos, but can you upload a lecture on thermodynamics, or differential equations? If you can’t, I understand, but once again, thank you!

Edit: just realized this channel is for computer scientists lol. Doesn’t change the fact that this video is so helpful. I might also watch your liner algebra video even though it’s not part of my minor. Gotta take the opportunity

I hated math in high school and I am about to start my MSc. Behavioural Science in weeks and Applied Stats is a big part. You made learning stats so easy. You are a true teacher and I am better off beginning that course.

I study part-time so I found it that by the time I reached in my third year concepts of statistics I covered in the 2nd year were starting to fade away! This video is a very good way to refresh my memory, THANK YOU :)

Thank you so much. I'm a math teacher looking to career switch into an actuary. This was a great review of topics that I've learned and since forgotten. It's not an overstatement to say i love you

I realize this is a beginner's course, but if anyone new to data analysis is reading the comments I want add a couple thoughts.

1. Pie charts can be okay, but there are usually better representations
2. Excel, and other spreadsheet tools, are a great tool to start learning about data with because it doesn't require specialized skills to use. Even so, I would recommend moving to Python, R, or Matlab (Octave) as soon as your basic statistical skills are solidified

Thank you so much for this interesting course. I am going into a master's program in Economics and I really needed to get head start in Statistics b/c I never took any stats courses and this is helping me tremendously.

Thank you so much. Earlier, I was very worried while dealing with graphs and other statistical terms which went straight over my head, but an hour or so into this course and everything seems so simpler now that you've broken it down.

Highly recommended video if you are serious about machine learning.

Applied statistics and probability for engineers by Douglas Montgomery and George c runger is a good book. Nice and simple explanation of key concepts.

I'm going into my senior year of high school and signed up for ap statistics to avoid getting the teacher I had last year (he made everything way more complex than it needed to be and I couldn't learn from him).. I hope it doesn't backfire! Using videos like these as practice before school starts.

Wow, very clear voice & explanation. I won't be jumping into the course right now but it will be my first course on this topic when it is time to master it. Thanks you for such a great content & resource!
