124, 000 Messengers is probably closer to the truth, given that--I don't know if this is in the Qur'an or the Hadith--but I've heard "there is no nation other than it has had its Prophet." It would be fascinating to know who the Messengers were in parts of the world the Qur'an makes no mention of: Australia, Canada, Brazil, you name it. And I didn't know Muslims were buried that way. That's BRILLIANT, to take them back into the Earth like that.

I have a question - didn't mufti Menk mention in the beginning of this series that Prophet's and Messengers (peace be upon them) bodies do not decompose? Am I missing something here? Does that mean Adam (A.S.) and other prophets graves are still intact or is it only the 5 messengers who this applies to?

Hey One Islam Produtions. I have one question. My dad believes that there is a creator but doesnt believe in prophets... I always prayed for him and he always gave money to charity and held his fast before he got an chronic illness. BUT he stopped doing Salah and believing in prophets. I just want to ask, If i pray for his forgiveness will he be free of some of his sins?
