Despite the cost, I have the Rondo Ruut CF 1 since two years now and I've done My first gravel event on it. I have to say that this bike is killing it. It's responsive, confy and nice looking. I even use it for road riding without any compromise

Great review. I bought the BMC, stripped it completely and built it with Ekar & G23 wheels to make my dream gravel bike.

I’ve put 6k miles on the road with my URS, same spec that they reviewed. Been nothing but reliable, ride it every day and love it to bits. My most prized possession.

I recently purchased the Canyon Grizl CF SL 7 with the dropper post. I’m fortunate to live in San Diego and very near the Canyon US HQ. I was able to try the range of bikes and really like what they offer with an Aluminum frames Grizl, 2 types of carbon, suspension post, dropper and front suspension. there also is the Grail which just offers more choices for the more road focused riders, which is great. As a taller rider just over 200 lbs i felt the dropper post would offer a ton of benefit to eliminate the awkwardness and potential spills in the long fast sandy sweepers and techy steep terrain and it does. Absolutely love it. I’m not getting hung up in any particular terrain as the tester experienced I’m rolling through it all with ease. I will be upgrading the gearing to an XT cassette to get an 11-46 at a reasonable cost and ordered a Rear Mech cage extender and pulley wheels from a company in Poland call Garbaruk. I plan to create and post that upgrade on my channel that I’m about to launch for those interested in that upgrade. I haven’t been able to justify the Rock Shox Rudy yet, however it may be too fun a proposition to resist……tune in to find out ……

All great bikes, but I’d go for the Tifosi, as having a better gear range and versatility would be high on my priorities.

Very odd choices imo. Seems to me as if you've gone for the quirky, rather than practical, gravel bikes. The winner didn't even mounts on the forks. Surely gravel bikes are meant to be used. Gravel riding, bikepacking etc. Still, I'm not the one making the vid. At least they came in under 3k.

Thanks for an interesting, comprehensive and fair comparison.

You tested gravel bikes but not on gravel roads?

I think you kind of miss what gravel bikes are. You should try them on chunky and steep gravel descents rather than single track. Single track isn't something those bikes would be on very often. Maybe you should come here to the US and try out some gravel races and rides.

Can you show bikes that the average Joe can afford? We don’t all have thousands

There is absolutely no reason for any bike to cost 3000£
