I loved how shocked and hurt the witch sounded when she was melting, like Dorothy would actually do something to hurt the witch, even though she was going to kill Dorothy and her friends first.

I'm guessing they used some lift to bring her down to make it seem like she was melting with added effects like a mini smoke machine or something. I don't know if I'm saying it right.
