I'm 54 and went on HRT six months ago after two awful years of suffering with menopause (I had terrible symptoms). Life is now 100% better. Don't suffer, go on HRT.

Thanks for this enlightening episode. I’m 70, had a total hysterectomy at age 50 and did not go on hormone therapy after the surgery because it was when all of those articles you referred to came out. I changed doctors this year and have started back on identical hormone replacement therapy. While it’s taken some time to get dosages adjusted, I’m tickled with the benefits I’m getting from …everything from nicer skin, to increased sex drive which had been dormant for a long time…for many other reasons, too. Losing 80 pounds and having my hubby lose over 100 pounds on keto/carnivore has rejuvenated us both! ❤

Love this!!! I am 79 and was put on PREMARIN when I had a hysterectomy when I was 50. (1994) by the Cleveland Clinic head gynecologist, Dr. Ballard. Also Holly Thacker(sp) was called in also. She highly recommended it also and wrote many books and on TV. The Womans Health study never included hysterectomy patients in the study. Progesterone was the culprit!!!! I am a Registered Dental Hygienist with BS to teach it also from Ohio State. My RN mother and MD dad insisted on Premarin too. Mom died around almost 100 less than 2 years ago and her 96 year old RN sister died last year on Premarin!!! Thank God we did our own studies!!! Bless you for educating many new patients!

As a 72 year old male, this doesn't apply to me directly. 1:06:35 However, I have two daughters in their 40s. I will listen to this again and order books for them. Thank you so much.

Started going through menopause at 42. Completely finished by 45. Went on HRT at that time. Never came off. Now at 65 I look many years younger than my peers. Feel full of energy and am still slim. My sister went off hormones this past year and oh my gosh she has aged so quickly. One more thing, I am also on a keto diet. All I can say is find videos like this and be your own advocate.

I had prostate cancer and have been going through hormone therapy where they gave me shots to stop my testosterone production. I can appreciate what women experience in the change. I have had hot flashes, night sweats and emotional at times. I really appreciate my wife putting up with me during this journey. Thank you.

I’m so grateful that my obgyn said 2 things that changed my life when I was literally losing my mind and body after menopause : 1. Go low carb 2. Consider HRT. Changed. My. Life.

I had a hysterectomy at age 43 and decided to go on HRT, it was a hard decision because of all of the scary things about it. I asked my doctor about HRT when I had my hysterectomy. I told him I would like to try that. He said it caused cancer. I asked him, "If I am replacing what my body was making, how is that dangerous?" He looked at me with a puzzled look and said, "I don't know." In our lives we have to make our own choices and hope they are the right ones. I also found it interesting that obecity can be linked to 13 different kinds of cancer but you don't hear the fear mongering about that. Why? I thought that at the age of 43 it was young to be without HRT. I have no idea what rewards I have from it, I am now 65. I had worried about my bones, I am small boned and was told that I was a candidate for osteporsis, my DEXA scan showed my bones were good. I hope the rest of me is as well underneath it all. Best wishes on making the best decisions for your own health and well being.

I read every book I could on menopause so I went on Premarin after three days I threw them away, I didn’t know what door to go in at the grocery store. Kept reading and discovered bio-identical hormones and I have been on it for 15 years feel 100% better . Had a new OBGYN and she said you are now a high risk for cancer and I’m a hairstylist and said it must be hard looking younger knowing that you will get cancer, she actually said that to me !!! I had read the studies and I’m happy and healthy at 73 on HRT !

This video is so timely for me. I’m turning 50 and falling apart physically. Hypoglycemic episodes, immune system suddenly not working, allergies and asthma getting worse, having episodes of panic when driving, hot flashes. All this despite keto and exercise. I’m just now realizing this is all hormonal. I’m about to embark on this BHRT journey and get my health back.

I am only halfway thru your video and as a female and a HRT person, (for decades) i still have to battle to take mine, and I always hear the breast cancer scare tactics, I am so grateful to hear a female ready to help! Finally! I want to shake your hand! ❤ I am not a doctor but I knew I could not stop taking mine! I am happy to have you confirm what I knew instinctively! I am so tired of listening to the HRT naysayers! Thank you!

I’ve been on HRT for 4 months and feel so much more like myself. Luckily, my doctor knows about all this research and was not concerned with breast cancer. I’m so thankful.

Thank you for opening my eyes. I'm 70, been menopausal since 50. I lost my mother to cancer when she was 50. I'm grateful for the time God has given me but we were so afraid of Hormone therapy. I will look into what I'm needing. I have been carnivore keto for 5 months, I feel great.
Thank you😊

Had uterous removed in mid 30's, ovaries remained intact. Went on HRT highest dose available at 42... Signs of menopause starting about 41year old.. I will never come off of it. I am now 77 years old. I have order my children if I die on or new the day my HRT patch needs changing then change my patch before my send off. YAY HRT I am also now carnivore eater and feel great.

I had a total hysterectomy… ovaries and all at 37. I have been on estradiol cream since and I am 62. Keeps me looking 40 and keeps my moods even. Also I’m ketovore and carnivore. I go back and forth I feel good. Don’t let your doctor tell you that you don’t need HRT. Progesterone is calming and keeps your skin and thyroid healthy Good luck. Just my experience 😊

Menopause Barbie has wonderful educational videos regarding Menopause and HRT. It would be great if Dr. Boz invites her to speak about her view of the HRT.

thank you for this video. It is nice to know that there are some female doctors actually trying to help women transition during this difficult time to be healthy and transition to be continue to be healthy. But, this is so rare because without us (women) researching and educating outside of our OBGYN office, we get all the wrong information or disregard about symptoms.

In my twenties I decided that when it was time I would take HRT. Baby making was impeded by severe fibroids (estrogen was blamed) but we persisted and had success! Hysterectomy 2 year later. Then "estogen positive" breast cancer arrived at that transitory period. After my BC treatment I was giving tamoxifen for 5 years to RID my body of estrogen and given the standard advise - NO ESTROGEN, not HRT not soy milk. I seem to be aging well (65) but I know I would look and feel better if I had been able to do what I planned on 40+ years ago. Watching this made me cry. Thank you so much for doing it.

Thank you Dr Boz for doing this much needed video! I was told to get off it at 57 and I’ve been miserable since. Now with all the information coming out about it being safe at 63 I’m going back on it.

HRT has been like winning the mega lottery for me. It has changed everything about the composition of my body and particular my sexual function. At one point in time I was unable to have sex due to painful and intercourse. That's a huge price to pay due to the scare tactics associated with HRT. This video is one of the most important videos of 2024! Very well done and thorough. It should save and improve many lives. Thank you Dr Boz.
