seems u guys deliberately bad mouth the hilux, , this is clearly a ford ranger ad that there are so many ford pick ups that stood the test of time and the hilux just vanish and break down for every 10 rangers sold just 1 hilux, , amazing, ,,,

yes the tide has turned the hilux is now very average and has been for 10 years now compared to the Ranger.. the new model is an improvement on the last hilux but not an improvement at all on say the bt 50 and Ranger maybe Amarok

over in nz toyota is no longer top selling ute as people have finally realised toyota is riding on a fan base and name rather than the actual ute qualities.. move over toyota there's a new name on the block it's called Ranger

you toyota guys sure are sore losers ranger is awesome i have been bashing them around the farm for years and towing heavy loads they are 100% reliable never have i done a mechanical repair or even a warranty claim. I get to drive a superior ute without compromising on reliability. The ford dealers around here gasp when another lux gets traded they are getting hard to sell unless cheap, the tide has turned.
