The Swedish Spj fm/43-44 is a very unconventional tank in War Thunder. It has essentially no armor, but is very fast and has a massive 150mm recoilless cannon. It's not very good, but it's very fun.

Spookston, the SPJ has 50mm of frontal armor which can bounce a lot of shells at range and closely when angled.

The spj is one of the most funny vehicles in the game, especially considering it has a recoilless rifle at 1.7.
Also, they should really fix that bug with the bridge.

This thing is suprisingly well armored for 1.7

50mm of armor at a slight angle means that you can't be killed by .50 cals frontally and you can bounce a lot of stuff.

Even the survivability isn't that bad for an open top, because if you get shot in the fighting compartment, your driver and radio operator are likely to survive.

And if you get shot in the front you will most likely to only lose the driver, radio operator and transmission.

the front plate is 50mm, no autocannon can penetrate you from the front, and if you angle it it'll only make the 35mm bits easier to penetrate
that thing hard counters any 20mm SPAA, and even the 40mm bofors

Two non-consecutive weeks of asking for the Type 60 SPRG (C). I did a comparison with another tank of similar qualities in the same BR, the M56, or Scorpion. Strangely, the Type 60 is faster despite being heavier. Granted, both tanks are vulnerable in the same ways, even if the Scorpion lacks any sort of turret armor. And the Scorpion has quite a few advantages, like having one round shy of three times the Type 60's ammo count, overall better muzzle velocity, more types of ammo, better projectile range and a better reload (6 for it's one cannon to the Type 60's 10 per cannon), but the Type 60 has a slight edge in that it has better turret rotation range and speed, double the gun depression and a pair of co-axial ranging machine guns (which are utterly useless for damage, except against the Scorpion's 5 millimeter bullet shield, ironically) and is smaller in real world and game space. Honestly, I'd say the Scorpion is better due to having better options to kill enemy tanks and it doesn't need to be looking at an enemy's front to maximize it's damage, but you can't ignore the Type 60's own advantages. I would implore Scorpion players to have a go in the Type 60 SPRG (C), you might enjoy it... And to not run directly into combat with either tank.

This is one of the most entertaining WT gameplay videos, exactly because i loved playing this thing so much. Weird little tank but the gun shield is surprisingly good for its BR and the reload is really good compared to other derpcannons.

I love this tank a lot, it's one of my favourite low-tier howitzer tanks. I love how it'd armour is surprisingly good, especially for 1.7 - and the recoilless rifle just disintegrates anything you come across. Plus it actually has a machine gun, which is very rare. Used it up until like 4.0 lol.
