I've used 20 lb omniflex catfishing for years and it's just as good as any other. It's the way of the world to deceive someone into thinking any different. 48 lb flathead on this 20 lb test line

I have fished bass tournaments for many years with this line. This has never, ever failed me and I think 2 to 3 fish in that time broke this line. I use 6 and 8lb on all my spinning reels and 12lb on my bait casters. This is a great product and underestimated. Great video.

I had this line (12lbs) on a bait caster, motor trolling. Checked the rod. It was spooled! But still tied to the real. Line stretched way out, rod bent in half. I shut the motor off and reeled in a 32" Crevalle Jack, a very powerful fish. The line held fine. Tough stuff.

150 yards of 50lb cost me $2.04 @ my Walmart. I use it to make leaders and have never had a single issue with it.

my opinions is that any line will do fine if you have just straight mono, but for leaders you want a soft mono that braid will cut into easier, ive tied fg knots with this and it works just fine, but a pr doesnt grap and just slips. for the pr knot you need a softer mono.

I have try this line out and it does hold fish very well. When you use good old brand names that are proven you focus more on your skill landing fish than just horsing them in. I'm sure you can relate if you compare a fancy plastic like Keitech or Basstrix to a Leland to catch lets say crappie, I'll go Leland 100%.

The technology for monofilament line is very old and well-established. They'd have to go through trouble to deviate from standard production processes and raw materials in order to create subpar fishing line, meaning they'd incur greater costs to produce a lower quality product, and I just don't see any company doing that. They'd just stick to making standard, old-fashioned monofilament.

I’ve bought a lot of it in every poundage. I caught at 23 pound freshwater Drum on the 8 pound version! Several catfish up to 10 pounds. Caught a 8 pound northern pike on the 4 pound version. I also use the 20, 25, 30, and 50 pound versions for leader material. I DO replace my line every three months or so to keep it fresh. It’s not my goto line by any means but just goes on my cheap panfish and heavier versions go on my economy catfish rods. I have WAY too many rods so I don’t line them all with braid. The Berkeley big game 20 and 30 pound braid is awesome.

Used this for yrs for what I do it's an awesome line have caught big flatties on 20 lb 71 pounds is my biggest and have used all the sizes except the 50lb no need for it never has let me down so I'll keep using this I can buy 10 spools of Omni flex and spool up all my reels and use it for 2-3 seasons spend 30$ on the 10 spools while others spend that much or more on 1 spool of there favorite lines I fish about 250-300 days a year this line is great

I use 50lb omniflex as a shock leader for drum fishing 8-10oz rigs off a pier. Landed many +45" fish with it, no issues.

This and Berkeley trilene XL are the best lines made- I think trilene XL feels a bit more supple which is good for baitcasters.
But for spinning rods having a cheap and reliable bulk spool of line is fantastic after spending a day fishing wood and brush.

Been using it for years I love it. Good stretch, good strength call 8 pound trout 10 pound trout on 4 pound test with no problem.

Let me just say that I had 8lb test omniflex as a 16" leader holding a dough hook. And landed a 12 lb, 26inch channel catfish from 60ft away on the bank.

I've big Reds and Cobia up to #55 using it was a leader without an ounce of problems. I was curious more than anything and now I have no reason to pay big prices for my leaders unless I step up my game on what I'm after.

I use the 20lb and 40lb zebco omniflex and cajunline.
I catch 70-80lb black drum on it with no problem.
The 20lb stuff catches 30 40 pound fish with no problems. I run the 20lb with the 40lb as a leader. And i use wire leader with the 40lb for my salt water rigs as its large fish and sharks im catching.
Ive used zebco lines all the way to 80lb test. And Ive never had a real issue with it ever. Just replace your spool every couple years. Or ill pull 30 or 40 yards off until its at fresh line.
