Fractal has been on a roll with several SFF releases that don't make you compromise power or style. Adam's here to check out the new Fractal Terra to see if this small green machine continues the trend of flexible build spaces or if this small form factor case is missing something critical.

This looks like something you can put in a bookshelf near a plant

The green with the wood effect on the front looks very stylish.

I've never been even slightly interested in small form factor builds but the jade green is getting my engine revved.

Fractal is quickly becoming the best case maker out there. The Ridge is amazing, I have the North and I love it, and this Terra is fantastic. Banger after banger. Hope they keep the streak going!

That 6800 xt with this green/olive case was a fantastic choice; absolutely gorgeous

This looks great. I built my first PC in the Fractal Ridge a few months ago and now I'm a huge Fractal fan. They made it so easy to build in and the manual was spot on. Also the Ridge is my baby and dream PC, keeping it for hopefully 10+ years.

You can use an ID-Cooling IS-47-XT, Apenfohn Black Ridge, or Thermalright AXP90-X47 in max GPU mode assuming your motherboard and RAM are compatible. They should provide better cooling vs an L9a/L9i and the ID-Cooling and Thermalright are cheaper as well.

Gullwing doors being associated with Tesla makes one wish they could go back to the future.

I just got this case last week and I did try the same cooler he used in this video but the tempts were really bad even with a 5600x. I swapped it out today for the Noctua NH-L9x65 and things are much better.

One other thing, I almost never use the badges or stickers that come with my computer components, but I could not help putting the brown Noctua owl badge that came with the cooler. Goes really well with the green and wood accents.

Press f to pay respects to the FormD T1 not being mentioned anywhere except optimum tech's review.

Love that they made even there power button green. Looks so sharp, and supportingly compliments the dark wood.

14:35 Fractal has foam fan duct kit for this CPU cooler, you can stack them against the outer wall, so it pulls only cold air from outside. No need for another case fan

2:55 Oh boy, not a man of culture I see... (Gullwing doors were not a Tesla thing at all, and these panels resemble original gullwing doors like on the classic 300 SL, or if you are not into cars, a Delorian.

Its basically a less expensive and more mass market version of the Formd T1, but without the options for a 240mm AIO radiator or dual fan exhaust on the top.

I do like how inexpensive and accessible the Fractal Design is, but if one is willing to drop the extra cash and maybe wait on availability then there's no doubt in my mind that the T1 is the better case. The T1 has insanely good thermal design for something just under 10L.
