Lemon Poppy Seed Loaf Cake Recipe:
250g cake flour
7g baking powder
4 ea. eggs
225g sugar
2g salt
2 ea. lemon zest
125g sour cream
100g melted butter
60g poppy seeds.

Lemon Syrup:
75g lemon juice
75g limoncello.

I made this last night and it is delicious and moist. Adding Limoncello mixed with lemon Juice to top it off is the perfect touch.

My mother baked such a cake 40 years ago. With one exception, no lemon juice. In Poland, my mother's cake was called sand cake.
