This is one of those films that would be on TV every so often on a Sunday afternoon in the 90s and, as a kid, you just had to watch it every time. Back then American films were the best. The music brings back a lot of memories.

Loved this movie as a kid. And because of this movie, I always wanted a disc dog. Mid 40’s now, and I finally got my childhood wish. He’s awesome and lives for frisbee. We play all day long. Don’t let your childhood wishes die.

Best intro ever for a movie. This brings me back to me and my two other siblings watching TV in our old living growing up. Now I'm 40 and still would enjoy this.

Great intro scene for the red herrings, audiences would know it's an alien movie from posters and trailers but they get faked out within 5 minutes. "There's the UFO, nope it's a frisbee, oh there's the alien, nope blimp" great filmmaking

If Die Hard can be a Christmas movie, then Flight of the Navigator can be a 4th of July movie!

To the good memory of Paul Reubens (credited as Paul Mall) as the voice of Max in this fantastic film. I always wondered if Joey Kramer ever met Reubens. He will be remembered and loved.

It was so sweet that Jeff trained Bruiser to catch frisbees while David was missing.

This must be one of Alan Silvestri’s most bombastic film scores, but he expertly doesn’t overstate it and it remains upbeat. One minor flaw is that before the dogs catching frisbees commentator starts speaking, the music restarts as if on a loop. But it’s an easy mistake to make, not having the music fade away before it starts replaying itself.

My Russian dog does this freaky job with snowballs, his favorite game 24/7 in winter
