In this video, I wanted to discuss some lore details and character designs of our newest character is Reverse: 1999, 37. 37 is probably one of my favorite characters in the game, and I am super hyped to make this video! Now in addition to 37, I also included some lore details about one of the best characters in the game, Bkornblume. She's actually a really awesome character after the research that I did. Thank you for covering Bkornblume's lore! She is one of my favorite characters. Also, I think Kornblume is maybe a reference to the Operation Cornflower(Aktion Kornblume) led by Stasi.

I figured the Hermes that was referred to was Hermes Trismegistus. A figure associated with alchemy and the relationship between the material and the divine.

I think Hermes as the symbol of knowledge here is in reference to the alchemists. Even until today there are revivalist spirituals that believe that figures like Thoth and Hermes are 1) real and 2) made important contributions to human development. In the Library part of cave of knowledge in the story chapter 5 an "Emerald Tablet" is directly mentioned. This is a direct reference to Hermes Emerald Tablets which held deep alchemist knowledge according to the myth. Even today there are many different people that believe various things to have been written and passed down on these tablets.

I'm pretty sure the reason why 210 calls 37 the Star of Hermes was explained directly in one of the event stories. I don't remember it clearly and it's too late to look it up now though.

I wouldn't exactly call them "the truth" but the Northern Star is a guiding star from which everyone follows if they had lost their way. It's like saying "go forth and venture, and when you lose your way, look up and I'll be there."

Bkornblume was literally the one character that made change from JP voices to EN after I saw someone play with english voices and I'm so grateful for that because I really love the rest of the cast, specially Vertin. I'm sorry but I'm not giving her any vacations, she's almost always on my team, I love her-

37 is also a sexy prime. That just means that 37 plus/minus 6 is also a prime number. Also she is a sexy prime triplet because both plus and minus 6 are both prime numbers.
