Here's why I HATE my BMW M2

Here's a list of first world problems my 2018 BMW M2 plagues me with. I hate that I used hate in the title, but it seems to be the trend amongst the youtube these days. More BMW M2 videos coming soon.

Just a heads up - if you use BimmerCode, it's easy to code out and turn off the auto rev matching. Google "Bimmerpost Bimmercode rev matching m2" to get the details.

Ive never heard of anybody buying an m2 and complain about it. Think you should go back to your Ford

Thanks for the review. I have been back and forth between a Mustang and a M2. I drove several cars at the performance center recently and the M2 was my favorite.

1. You can eliminate the cold start feature by ecu flash tuning I.e. bm3 by PTF. But cold start is generally for the converter to warm up faster so it’s recommended on stage 2 tune only.

2. Good luck with remote start on the BMW platforms. Anything F series and above it hasn’t been possible manual or automatic. Germany law prohibits you to exit vehicle and leave it idle and BMW is the one that really adhere to this and refuse to let us code remote start in F series cars.

Your snow mode is really M Dynamic Mode. The throttle is slower for modulation while on track.

Hi man! The moveable armrest thing is optional. If it bothers you, you can change it with the one that is static. Good luck.

It amazes me how owners complain about these issues.Did you not hear how noisy it was on the test drive? where you feet smaller on the test drive?

i asked BMW here about the fact that it is starting in Comfort and then manualy switch to sport/+. here it is a saftey/emission issue like the start/stop auto also wich you happily can code out. the traction mode is a way to let the exhaust flaps and the pops and bangs be more dominant, but i thinkt because they are more artificial, its better to have it not that much in sports mode.  :) (Schubblubbern) i love the auto rev match, its just great. in not able to heel and toe, so it helps me a lot. nice :)

I'm either buying an m2 or s4. 75% of my drive will be to work in some traffic so I'd prob want it starting in comfort mode.
