When my best friend Bonnie saw me at school, she yelled, "But you… You said you were going to dye your hair black! You lied to me! It's red!" I didn't ask her why she was mad because I already had a guess. Bonnie was my best friend. The other day, I told her I was going to dye my hair black. She copied me to a tee, so she went to the salon right after school and got her hair dyed black. Meanwhile, I had changed my mind at the salon and dyed it red. When Bonnie saw the color of my hair, she was mad, so she refused to talk to me all day.

my friend is exactly like this. at first, i thought it was just a form of admiration that she took inspiration from me— how i style, how i act, how i text, and my interests. as time passed, it just seemed so odd to me that it still went on. it’s great for her to try new things, but even the things she said she won’t do, she does them because i do them. when i tried confronting her, she got so defensive that i just apologized. till this day she still copies me, but i’m honestly unbothered by it anymore. i’m going to let this happen for a while, but once she does something that really bothers me, , i’m going to say something.
