My olfa is my best friend. Technically i nicked mine from a sculpture class i took in college, but hopefully they understand. It’s been by my side ever since — great review.

I have 3 different types of Olfa for work, and they are the best knives I have ever used. I have had them for over 8 years now, and other than getting dirty, they are amazing.

About a rare black Olfa knife about 12 years ago, it has a smooth steel box opener on the opposite side to the blade, it's not sharp but it has been so useful in factory work, I still use it to this day.

Of course the breakable blades on it are also great.

I've had one like this for more than 7 years and today I finally found out how to change the blade and I've been holding onto it for the sound it makes :D lol Thank you!

I pick this one up in Pearl paint back in the days because it was the only one available, and turns out this was my favorite version above all. It's light weight, durable, and has no hot spot for the hand.

Very satisfying sound! :) I've got an NT Cutter LG (also made in Japan) and a Maker knife. Both also makes very distinctive sounds.

We use these at work for conveyor belt splicing, A standard box cutter blade fits the knife you had on the far right, also that is not industrial type. We are banned from using the industrial "banana" style ones because of too many injuries. Also there is a faster way to snap off the blades, Simply hold it knob side down on a flat surface, extend it so the lines meet up at the guard, push down hard while rotating the knife to the left.
We wear CUT 5 gloves with them. for heavier duty belts, we use the olfa H-1.

Just today, my husband got me an OLFA Self-healing Cutting Mat and an AK-5. My next wishlist would be this cutter!😍 planning to have olfa cutters as well for my mat🥰 but for now, i'll use local cutters. Hope it'll not damage my maaaat!!! I can't find Alvin mat here in ph. Thanks for this review!

I actually have one and it's not my favorite for a lot of tasks. My favorite is the Olfa One-Touch L 18mm Heavy-Duty Slide-Lock Utility Knife (SL-1). It's really fast to operate, no ratcheting and adjusting. It locks really good using a set of teeth on the side. I've had mine for probably 25 years and it still works really good for something that's made of 99% plastic (it's got just a metal leaf spring in the blade holder part)

The very best utility knife I have had is one were it had a magazine feature where you could load several blades in it at once, unfortunately it got stolen by a customer shortly after I had it.

I have their wheel cutters. Now I'm puzzled at why I don't have that knife. These small things make a big difference.
