Honestly, charming picks up the dad role so easily while snow kinda struggles to be a mom to Emma and then she kinda just gives up after a while. Snow also doesn't really have many interactions with hook, I mean it's her daughter's future husband and she barely ever even talks to him, even Regina has more screen time with hook than snow does. David and hooks relationship is goals tho, I love their banter, even when they are on opposite sides

charming being a protective dad is the cutest shit in the world! It’s literally my favorite thing ever. He missed out on so much in her life and he can’t stand losing her or seeing her get hurt. He will do anything to make sure he doesn’t lose her again. And he’s trying to make up for lost time at the same time.
