Creamed Swiss Chard | Creamed spinach recipe

Creamy swiss chard or spinach sauce is one of our favorite childhood dishes. Especially when I think of Popeye and the power that spinach gave him. :)
The creamed spinach recipe was given to us by a neighbor and it is still one of our favorite recipes.
To prepare creamed spinach, you need spinach or Swiss chard, butter, garlic, heavy cream, salt and nutmeg.
Creamy spinach sauce goes perfectly with mashed potatoes, gnocchi and polenta.
