Money brings happiness when it does not strip you off humbleness...when you use it to make others happy.. when it's in your hand not in your heart...when your ultimate goal remains the pleasure of your God, your creator, the one who protects and provides for you...the one who made you wealthy in the first place

You can tell many of the people in this comment section have never had true sadness. They complain about how well these rich celebrities have it and that they have it so bad yet I'm sure there are kids in third world countries that would laugh at how "bad" you all have it.
Money is undeniably a part of happiness but anyone who says that money = happiness is an idiot. There are so many more things in life that can affect ones mental state and their happiness.
If the problems in your life all stem from money then that's fine, money will make you happy, but don't act like any other problems for other people are invalid. You are jealous of rich celebrities money but I'm sure many of them are just jealous of your stable mental state, your family/friends and the fact that you have people that care about you

Happiness is just about entertaining the brain, which comes most effectively with learning, discovering, creating, developing skills. Money doesn't help much, because material things only go so far in entertaining the brain, as exciting as something material can be, you get bored from it quite quickly. Love is a good way to entertain the brain, but it comes with all sorts of complications and vulnerabilities. So I prioritize learning as the purpose of my life. And when the time comes really neatly I'll get to the love part.

the thing is, is that if you are making enough money so that you do not need to worry about where your next meal is going to come from, how you're going to pay rent next month, how you're going to pay for your kid's shoes, etc. then money will not bring you happiness. once you are not in survival mode, and you are living in comfort, then any more money than that will not buy you happiness.
