A buddy of mine named Dwayne worked a crew of painters that would work at mjs house whenever he needed. He said that mj had tons of guidelines about working there like you had to wear new shoes and painters overalls every day you were there so you didn't contaminate his area. He loved it because Michael was fully willing to pay for all that stuff so after the job you'd just have nice new (Nike, plain Jane white) shoes and painters overalls for years courtesy of the king of pop.

That investment alone ended up making the Jackson estate 1.2 billion. He didn’t stop with the Beatles catalog. He plowed much of his money into buying all kinds of other musicians catalogs. He was the single biggest owner of published music in the entire world!!! Every time one of the songs he owned was played he made money. The licensing rights were paid by movie studios to him and the people whom produced commercials. There should be a book on just how amazing a businessman Michael really was.
