If he turned around and pointed the gun at the officer then why was he shot in the back????

The cop saying he saw him waving his gun around in the car first, then again he was brandishing it while heading to his house?
I call so much BS it won’t fit in a dump truck.

Crazy how face down, palms down, ear buds, keys and multiple subway sandwiches on a dead man shot in the back somehow means what exactly? Sounds like murder.

So if the young man was pointing his gun at the cop how is it that he was shot six times in the back?

If the defence is referring to a man who was walking from his parked car into his home with a couple of sandwiches and his car keys in his hands while listening to music on his headphones and NOT breaking any laws whatsoever, as a "gunman", it's pretty obvious they are desperately trying to make the victim sound like a "big bad black man with a gun" to justify what seems like a pretty straightforward homicide. The idea that he was "waiving his gun around" seems very hard to believe.

Evidence of gun shots to the back prove the officer is at fault - if he is pointing a gun at you how does he get shot in the back.

Shot in the back says it all. The officer followed a private citizen without warrant and shot him in the back. What argument could there be for such a wrongful breech of professional procedures. It’s looks like murder one . The citizen had a legal firearm and was holding his food when he was shot ijn the back. He also had EarPods in his ears, so how could he hear the officer who was taking a tactical position to drop in on him.

If I were in the jury, I'd assume anything she said about the gunman was about her client.

Because a guy out getting sandwiches for his family would just wave his gun at a random cop. It's almost like just coming across the police these days is taking your life in your hands.

A citizen carrying Subway sandwiches made the officer fear for his life. Just imagine how fearful he might be of a little girl carrying Girl Scout cookies...

How are you in fear for your life when you shoot somebody in the back

I hate lawyers sometimes. How do you ride and lie and speak dishonestly for someone who is clearly in the wrong?

Omg.. is anyone gonna believe that? Not me. He had keys where he opened the door, and food.. this cop followed him home and EXECUTED him.. through his own door.. IN THE BACK ..Proving He Was Not A Threat

This bish called someone that never fired a shot a "gunman" while trying to minimize the violence of the person that actually not only fired a weapon but also killed someone by shooting them in the back half a dozen times.

What a great lawyer.

Evidence, evidence, evidence this cop has clearly told lies, but how far do the lies go?

Don't you love how the defense attorney repeatedly refers to the the guy who the cop shot in the back as "the gunman." There is no limit as to how low these slime balls will go to earn their paycheck.

"The gunman" is a legal carrier not committing a crime, not a gunman. Notice they use the same terms they use to describe school shooters to dehumanize the man who was murdered. Shameful.

The story says the victim had ear pods in his ears. He probably didn't hear the officer announce himself.

Fear for his life, wait for backup. He shot him in the back.

It is way beneath dignity to call the dead victim "the gunman". That slide did not go past anyone Ms Defence Lawyer.
