Authorities say SWAT team members finished an unsuccessful search for a suspect when 23-year-old Casey Goodson drove by waving a gun. An attorney for Goodson’s family disputes that. Although Goodson was not the suspect they were looking for, a sheriff’s deputy fatally shot Goodson outside his home following a “verbal exchange.” Late today, the Columbus police department turned the investigation over to state officials.

Bottom line, the police officer misidentified Casey as the suspect and killed him. Then, made up a story that he was waving his gun.

This insanity again. They went to an INNOCENT person's house, then killed them. And claim, "He did own a gun, so it's justified." Though, while a white man can wave an assault weapon around like a flag and be praised, a black man with a supposed handgun he waved while just driving back from the dentist, needs to be hunted down. And on top of all of it, killed in front of his family. This is so close to the events of the murder of a Federal Judge's son. That one human treats another this way is monstrous, regardless of a uniform.
