I have had the same problem. I have a video on my channel showing how to overcome this problem using GoPro Cineform studios. The video is titled "Make Time Lapse in Cineform Studios: Editing Tips and Tricks"

I was only suggesting turning down the resolution if you are going to be making long time lapses. This was simply to save space on the card. If all you are going to be doing with the photos is making them in to a 1080p video there is no point in having 12mp photos when 1080p is around 2mp

Why shoot below the camera's potential? And why have such a loud beep?! Otherwise, very clear video and explanation.

...great tutorials. Can u help with this problem. When i do time lapse and i watch them as a movie the pics are very bouncy looking. It looks like the camera has slightly moved on each pic taken. I thought the wind was moving the camera but it does it all the time. I did take a time lapse and it was ok but can't figure out what i have done wrong. THX greg

I'm having a huge problem with making time-lapse videos on Cineform.. After I import my photos and convert them into a video, when I go to "Step 2 EDIT" and click on my converted clip then Cineform will just crash and quit itself. This is extremely frustrating because I have previously successfully made a time-lapse video. Do you have any advice on what I can do? (I have already tried reinstalling Cineform)

You can charge it with your iPhone charger. That's how I have charged mine for almost a year. Kyle, I'm shocked you would suggest turning down the quality. It's what makes These camera's so awesome.

It's wrong to say that ther is no ideer in shooting 12mp. Have a look at one of my timelapse. Ther you can see pan/tilt/zoom. Its made in post from the 12 megapixel. So dont say its best to shot low res.
