don't buy woods, marches slopes mountains ditches river beds deserts just buy a piece of flat land. IT WILL STILL COST ENOUGH TO GET IT READY AND LANDSCAPED; keep in mind that land costs only less than half of the price in the USA compared to Europe, so very cheap. Yesterday I saw a decent flat plot for sale in Aspen Colorado for only 75000 USD READY TO BUILD AND CONNECT In Europe there is no land for 75.000 euros, it starts at 150000 euros. In America try to build a house where there is already a grid. ie sewers gas electricity water to connect on. otherwhise you will lay and pay that yourself which is a very costly affair. 50000 USD IS PEANUTS; To get in advance a realistic price estimate of the total project work with a construction company that is local, sets a lot of houses and can assign the cheapest contractors in engineering and building. Don't build thinking you can all do and find that yourself. Go for a BRICK house which is worth much more and which will last much longer. That is my best advice. Built twice like that. Bonne chance buddy! And yes do terraces and driveways in natural stone. Much nicer, drains away rain water and lasts much longer doesn t crack or discolour. Concrete is only concrete and you have no idea what all is poured in it. Iron stone will naturally come to concrete surface after a couple of years and then you get red zebra concrete driveway And so on and so on
