What's new? Thomas Sowell has been saying this for half a century.

No one talks about how the government encourages single motherhood

Finally people are saying out loud that once you have a child you are no longer the most important individual. It's now about the child and doing everything you can for them. I love it.

I hate to keep harping on this, but the level of obvious discomfort she is feeling, throughout this conversation, makes me so sad & angry. It's despicable how our society has created such an atmosphere of discomfort with the truth. This has to change.

Propaganda has done a great job of dividing everyone.

You can ignore reality, but you cannot ignore the consequences of ignoring reality.

Reframing having two parents together in the home as a “privilege”, means that it’s not normal or expected. That’s already a part of the issue in our society today. It’s normal to be a single parent and have multiple children from different parents.

I grew up in a single parent house. My mom sacrificed raising us in order to provide for us. By the grace of God, I am successful member of society.

Although, I somehow made it and figured it out (even if I am a little “off”), I missed out not having my dad in our home. Growing up in a single parent home gave me a disadvantage and I would not recommend it. God bless my mom… she kicked so much ass pulling her 4 kids out of poverty BUT damn it was less than ideal.

Two parents is not a privilege. It is a biological natural reality.

The 2 parent household is NOT privilege. It is simply good choices.

It’s crazy that the people who get married, stay married and have kids are the ones espousing that marriage is unnecessary.

No mention in her list of social welfare having an impact on single parenthood - it has been a significant factor in the US and UK

"The two perspective privilege" - When you only have one parent, you only get one perspective. People with limited perspective will always struggle. If we taught our kids to think critically at school then the fact that they only had one parent wouldn't be as big an issue.

Two parents isn’t a privilege actually - it’s normal. Thanks!

Glad these conversations are happening more publicly. But there is still a lot of beating around the bush for the sake of 'political correctness' and trying to never offend anybody, ever. No matter how poor their decisions. Until people at large are willing to be brutally honest on this topic it will continue to get worse and worse in these Western countries.

Hallelujah The daily jesus devotional has been a huge part of my transformation, God is good 🙌🏻🙌🏻. I was owing a loan of $49, 000 to the bank for my son's brain surgery, Now I'm no longer in debt after I invested $11, 000 and got my payout of $290, 500 every month…God bless Mrs Susan Jane Christy ❤️

The Industrial Revolution made a mistake. It moved the nuclear family to the work, instead of the work to the extended family.
