Most people make the “roster for smash 6” like 20 characters so I’m glad you had lots of characters and like any other video that I’ve seen this is the only one that I would actually buy

this is the best roster prediction video I’ve seen. I don’t think it makes sense for Sakurai to cut the roster down to 20/30 characters after ultimate, so this scenario is very likely to happen! (I hope)

I feel the Warioware series totally deserves a character. Wario is representing not only mario, but also repping Warioland and Warioware all by himself. Heck, since smash ultimate has come out, there's been 3 separate Warioware games released. (Gold was released before ultimate, but it came out the same year so I'm counting it.)

One thing worth noting: Sakurai and Co. Almost did cut Puff going into Brawl, but decided to keep her last minute. This is why she's one of the few characters who doesn't do anything in Subspace. Those were the last minute additions.

8:08 Unlike other Fire Emblem characters, Byleth and Daraen have a very different moveset. Byleth is a really fun character to play as.

Oh, and keep in mind that Sakurai is deciding who is included in the game. Fire Emblem is one of his favourite franchises, and I wouldn’t be surprised if there were more Fire Emblem characters in the next game.

(Edit : I’m surprised Cloud Strife isn’t in your roster. With the third and final part of the remake of this game combined with his popularity, I think he has to be there, even if Sephiroth isn’t with him.)

Cutting Steve and not adding at least one other Sonic character is wack. Steve is a gaming icon from the most successful game of all time while also representing the newer gen of gaming while Sonic… is sonic, nuf said.

Agree with Bandana Dee, Paper Mario, Akira and Crash. Definitely don't see Banjo, Wolf or even Sora getting cut tho, bayo and miis should be cut instead

0:13 - I would be shocked if this is the route they take. If the next device has backwards compatibility with Switch games this won't happen. Also, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe happened because it released on the failed Wii U, where Smash Ultimate released on the 3rd best selling platform of all time and was one of its best sold games on the successful platform. The only way Smash Ultimate Deluxe happens is if the decision making is on the same level of genius as the writers of She Hulk.

Personally I think this roster is quite good, although a bit big lol. one thing i feel though is that sonic fs deserves another rep like tails or eggman, hell i could even see both happening tho that’s unlikely. one of the third party returners would probably get cut imo

I really don't see Alear showing up. Engage was one of the worst selling 1st party games on the Switch and this year's Choose Your Legends event for the mobile game, many of the Engage cast didn't place well on this years ballot, still being largely swept by Three Houses and even Awakening casts overshadowing them. Not a single character even made top 5 and those polls are basically popularity contests.
