Love these videos! I got lucky and could visit the cockpit of a 777-300ER and sit in the right hand seat. Such a beautiful cockpit, and aircraft!

Pilots usually turn on the ground power instead as apu burns fuel, and this only gets turned on a few minutes before engine start as the apu is needed for the engines to start without having to use an air starter.

Bit of a bummer that there is no APU instrumnetation until AFTER the APU is running :O

No where to see APU status as it starts? Surprised how long it took for the flight displays to turn on.
