This is a 1947 KSS with original engine and frame and in very good condition. I haven't used it much in the last year as I've been too busy
having fun with other projects, so it is time to let someone else enjoy it.

Had a 1938, got it in 1956, reliable lovely ride fast and slow. Passed my test on it, examiner bid behind a free for brake test, stalled it but passed. Loved that bike, cost £90.00 quid further then, I was earning £2, 7shillings and 11d a week, apprentice engineer

I fitted a new silencer to my 47 KSS and it strangles the performance, way too quiet. Bought it from a UK motorcycle exhaust manufacturer and I was told it had the same baffle system as when they were first produced. I don't know if there is anything I can do to improve the gas flow as I don't want to cut the back of the silencer open and re weld it.

Yes, one can live without a Velo but it's a rather useless life.
